Tests whether it works, at what dose, in a few hundred people.
Retunes the immune system more broadly than a single pathway.
A research record, not medical advice: being listed here says nothing about whether a treatment works or whether it is right for you. Talk to a dermatologist about your own case.
How it is meant to work
A humanised IgG1 antibody that blocks OX40 on T cells without depleting them, engineered for a long half-life. Amlitelimab, also in this register, targets the ligand side of the same OX40 pair.
Why it matters
In the Phase 2a, 29 adults with at least half the scalp affected were treated open-label at two dose levels, dosed at baseline, week 2 and week 4. On 600 mg the mean SALT score fell 14.3% by week 24 and 21.7% by week 36, about seven and a half months after the last injection, which the company reads as durability; 300 mg did almost nothing. Small, open-label, no placebo arm; results have been posted to the registry. ImageneBio, as Inmagene is now called, said in August 2026 it would start a Phase 2 in alopecia areata before the end of the year, with first data in 2028.
