Why it matters

Aclaris ran the same JAK inhibitor by mouth and on the scalp at the same time — a clean test of whether the topical failure was about the molecule or about reaching the target. Both programmes stopped. Listed as discontinued on the evidence of no registered study since 2019 rather than a sponsor announcement, hence MEDIUM.
