How it is meant to work

A JAK inhibitor developed by Zelgen, registered in alopecia areata both orally and as a topical cream. Running the same molecule by both routes tests whether a topical can reach the follicle at all — the question that sank delgocitinib and ATI-50002.

Why it matters

It is the register's clearest case of a programme that is well advanced and almost invisible in English. Four registered trials, including a completed phase 3 and a phase 3 extension, all in China. Approvals in China do not appear in Western coverage, so this row exists mainly so the trial history is findable at all.
