Why it matters

A 2026 report in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, with a CSPC co-author, describes SYHX1901 as an oral dual Janus kinase and spleen tyrosine kinase inhibitor, which would make it a variation on the approved oral JAK class rather than a new mechanism. The registered Phase 2, 156 adults with severe disease against placebo, was due to start in May 2025 and still reads 'not yet recruiting' with no sites listed. Recorded so the code is findable; nothing clinical has been reported.
