Chemotherapy-induced alopecia

Hair lost during cytotoxic treatment, and — separately and less well known — hair that does not come back afterwards.

Scalp cooling is the established approach and is a device rather than a drug. The pharmacological programmes here are trying to achieve the same effect chemically, and the persistent form — where hair never returns — has almost nothing aimed at it.
